About Polo Molina

Born in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, Polo Molina is the third of ten siblings. He was taught at a very young age by his grandfather Joaquín Molina how to work with horses.

For as long as Polo can remember, he has had a true connection with the spirit of the horse. With their Spanish and Mayan heritage and techniques passed on by generations, Joaquín blessed Polo with the ability to gain a horse’s trust.

Through this training, Polo learned how to properly assert positive energy quickly establishing valuable communication with every horse he meets. This is what opened the doors to the passion he currently has for all horses and horse training.

At the age of 23 he moved to California and began to develop a new interpretation of Natural Horsemanship and the ability to connect and build a relationship with the horse. His inclination and desire have been the biggest factor for Polo to remain unique in his teachings of Natural Horsemanship and allows him to transmit an extraordinary experience to his students. For almost 50 years, Polo Molina has traveled in search of new knowledge and insight on true horsemanship. He has taught in California, Arizona, and now resides at his ranch in Mococha, Yucatan, Mexico, where he trains people to work with horses and rides every day.
